Visit the different buildings, including the magnificent Jahangiri Mahal designed for the ladies of the royal family, before continuing to Ranthambore National Park this afternoon. Home to the elusive Bengal tiger, as well as many other species of indigenous animals, here you enjoy a game drive accompanied by a local tracking expert to increase your chances of a sighting. Back on board this evening, the Maharajas' Express journeys to Jaipur.

One of the best-planned cities in the world for its time, Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. One of 3 ancient hilltop forts that dominate the hills above, enjoy a guided visit this morning ahead of a choice of optional excursions this afternoon or a chance to relax at the hotel. You could take a city tour of Jaipur or visit the fascinating observatory, which consists of 14 large geometric structures designed for astronomical measurement in the 18th century, and the ornately decorated City Palace.

Enjoy the countryside views over breakfast on Day 6, before arriving into Bikaner, where you have the choice to either relax on board, make an optional visit to the Lalgarh Museum, home to the fourthlargest private library in the world, or take a local city tour.
